Vintage Tony’s Service Station South Milwaukee, Wis Advertising Artwork.
While cleaning out our Great Uncle’s belongings, we came across this piece of advertising piece of artwork. It was given by Tony’s Service Station 2301 10th Avenue So. Milwaukee., Wis. phone number SO. 2-9850.
It measures 8” x 6” including the frame.
It is a piece showing a very peaceful scene with a stream and ducks in front and a house with a thatched roof and a person walking down a path with chickens following behind.
The frame is gold tone metal and there is a place for hanging on the back.
You can see that the back of the print has seen better days, but it does not affect the picture.
This is how our families decorated their homes in years gone by. I am sure this was proudly hung in grandma’s home.
It is very cute.
