    Description

    Up for sale is a set of 7 forks and spoons from Taxco, Mexico most probably from the 1930's-1940's. The set includes 5 Sterling Silver forks with a carved jade handles and TAXCO written in block letters down the stem. The forks measure approximately 4.5 inches long. All are marked Mexico with a marker's mark on the backside. Three forks has a slight bend.
    The 2 Sterling Silver spoons have an Aztecan design on the bowl. The larger of the spoons also has MEXICO written in block letters down the stem and is 4.5 inches long with the bowl measuring 1.25 inches in diameter. The design is the Aztecan calendar on the larger spoon. The smaller spoon has a dent on the bottom side which is not visible from the front. This spoon measures approximately 3.75 inches long and the bowl is 7/8 inches in diameter.
