    Description

    ITEM DESCRIPTION:
    It's a 5 3/4" x 3 3/4" card for Victory Gas and Oil trade stamps, stamped and dated Jan 1942, and "50"; lists addresses of stations in the Kansas City Kansas area, has (2) 2 1/2 cent trade stamps stuck to it. Stamps and card exceedingly rare. A quick search, the stations were in the area and did not advertise much... found an ad in 1943, 1951. 1946 Kansas City area court case listed Victory Oil Company had George W. Martin as president - it was incorporated in 1946.  Records of 4 Victory Oil companies in Kansas from 1919-1946 that may have merged, etc, with each other.
