SMLE Charger Clips Stripper Clips MkIV FN Marked 303

Description

A set of three authentic and original 5-round charger or stripper clips for the SMLE No.1 Mk III and the No.4 Rifle. This is the Mk IV pattern that was adopted in 1916 and used through WWII. All three chargers bear the Fabrique Nationale maker's mark. The British and Canadian governments supplied a large number of rifles to the Belgian Army after WWII, and FN began manufacturing both .303 ammunition and the accompanying chargers. The clips you are bidding on were preloaded with FN
ammunition bearing a 1950 headstamp. The excellent condition of the clips and the tarnish on the cartridges strongly suggests these are unused since they left the factory.
These are in excellent condition with minimal surface oxidization. They have not been cleaned or refinished like many milsurp clips. They do hold their rounds very nicely if you plan to shoot with them!
