Joseph A. Sabbaton - Engineer. Albany, New York; had patent for improvement in purifying oil-gas, 7/30/1850.
8” x 9.8” autographed letter, Apr. 5/(18)51, to H. H. Martin Esq., signed in ink. In full “I call in to bid you good bye and am unfortunate in finding you away. I have met with like success in searching for the rest of my friend the Directors. Please be kind enough to inform them that it is not my fault that I miss the pleasure of seeing them in my departure.” Transmittal folds and minor soiling otherwise very good - fine.
