David "Honeyboy" Edwards is one of artist Lennie Jones favorite old Delta Blues Men, as well as one of the longest living blues men, living to the age of 96. Edwards just passed in 2011. He was a member of the Maxwell Street Gang in Chicago, coming up along side of Howlin' Wolf, Charlie Patton, Muddy Waters and Little Walter.
One of the blues most knowledgeable and amiable Blues Masters, Honeyboy loved his fans and used his trademark story tellin' to pass down music history and traditions.
The HoneyMan was a true treasure!
