  • Condition: This SPDT Switch appears to be in Excellent condition: body seems to be very clean, the connections appear to be shiny and clean with virtually no scratches. The front plate label looks to have been a mirror-type finish which has worn off? but the lettering and diagram are intact. The side terminals have attached wires which have been cut off. It is Untested as I have no way to do so.

    "The 8761 is a single-pole, double-throw coaxial switch with low standing-wave ratio, low insertion loss, and excellent isolation from DC to 18 GHz. Mechanically, the switch is a break-before-make type controlled by a latching solenoid.  Any of 7 coaxial connectors, or a 50-Ohm termination, may be specified for each port." ~as per the HP Coaxial & Waveguide Catalog and Microwave Measurement Handbook, 1975-76.     Including the Type N connectors and solenoid terminals, this switch measures approximately 2.75  x  2.2  x  1.5 inches, and weighs approximately 5.4 ounces.
