This bank operated from 1851 until it failed in 1866.
This colorful red and black note features a Vignette of a Slave carrying a basket of cotton between "5" counters. On the bottom right is a Vignette of a survey crew. A young boys portrait is printed on the far left. Printed by the American Bank Note Co.
